मेरी डायरी से -“बैच फ़्लावर औषधि–पाइन”

वनस्पति शास्त्र में चीड़ या पाइन को कोनीफरेलीज़ (Coniferales) आर्डर में रखा गया है। चीड़ दो प्रकार के होते हैं : (1) कोमल या सफेद, जिसे हैप्लोज़ाइलॉन (Haploxylon) और (2) कठोर या पीला चीड़, जिसे डिप्लोज़ाइलॉन (Diploxylon) कहते हैं। कोमल चीड़ की पत्तियों में एक वाहिनी बंडल होता है, और एक गुच्छे में पाँच, या  कम पत्तियाँ होती हैं। वसंत और सूखे मौसम की बनी लकड़ियों में विशेष अंतर नहीं होता। कठोर या पीले चीड़ में एक गुच्छे में दो अथवा तीन पत्तियाँ होती हैं। इनकी वसंत और सूखे ऋतु की लकड़ियों में काफी अंतर होता है।

चीड की लकडी का आर्थिक महत्व भी है, विशव की लकडी की काफ़ी माँग चीड द्वारा पूरी की जाती है । चीड़ की बहुत सी जातियों के बीज खाने के काम आते हैं, जिनमें पश्चिमोत्तर हिमालय का चिलगोजा चीड़ अपने सूखे फल के लिये प्रसिद्ध और मूल्यवान् है। जैसे भारत और पाकिस्तान में - पा. जिरार्डियाना (P. gerardiana) अर्थात् चिलगोजा, यूरोप में - पा. पिनिया (P. pinea) तथा पा. सेंब्रा (P. cembra),  उत्तरी अमरीका में - पा. सेंब्रायडिस (P. cembroides) की कई किस्में, अमरीका के पा. लेंबरर्टिना (P. lambertina) की छाल से खरोंचकर रेजिन की तरह एक पदार्थ निकालते हैं, जो चीनी की तरह मीठा होता है। इसे चीड़ की चीनी कहते हैं।

औषधि के रुप में बैच फ़्लावर मे पाइन एक विशेष प्रजाति Pinus sylvestris  से बनायी जाती है ।

 

बैच फ़्ल्लावर औषधि "पाइन" का विशेष लक्षण है , ’ Self-reproach‘ यानि प्रत्येक गलती के लिये अपने को दोषी ठहराना ,यह " guilt complex " या उनमें व्याप्त दोष भाव इतना अधिक प्रबल होता है कि वे किसी भी  घटना के लिये भी अपने को दोषी मानते हैं ।

लेकिन  इस  एक्मात्र लक्षण से एक रोगी मे व्याप्त उसकी कई मानसिक  समस्यायें इतनी जल्दी  दूर होगीं , यह मैने सोचा भी न था । श्री मु.अ. मुस्लिम धर्म के अनुयायी है । पिछ्ले साल रमजान के दिनों मे वह मुझसे मिले । समस्या अनिद्रा की थी । पिछ्ले कई महीनों से उनकी दिन और रात दोनों की ही नीद गायब थी । और गत तीन सप्ताह से किसी   मानसिक रोग विशेषज्ञ से वह इलाज करा रहे थे लेकिन कई anti depressants और नींद की दवा चलने के बावजूद वह सन्तुष्ट नही थे । नीद न आने का कारण  बताने में वह असमर्थ थे  लेकिन कुछ तो था …. जो उनको इतना अधिक व्याकुल और व्यथित किये जा रहा था । लेकिन रोगी खुल कर बताने  को तैयार नही हुआ और इस हाल में जिसका डर था वही हुआ , पहला  प्रिसक्रपशन  coffea 200 देने से कुछ भी लाभ  न हुआ ।

दो दिन बाद उनके घर से उनकी पत्नी और बेटे को बुलाना पडा । इस बार केस हिस्ट्री  पूरी तरह से ली गई । ज्ञात हुआ कि वह सनू २०१० मे वे एक उच्च  सरकारी पद से रिटायर हुये थे , जो ग्रैच्चुयिटी आदि उनको मिली वह ब्याज समेत  थी । और शायद यही उनके मन की उलझन भी थी । दोष भाव या guilt complex से वह इतना अधिक ग्रस्त थे कि बात –२ पर वह रो पडते । ज्ञात हो कि मुस्लिम धर्म में उनके शास्त्रों के अनुसार  ब्याज की रकम का उपयोग वर्जित है । और यही उनके मन की उलझन  का कारण भी था ।

मेरे सामने दो विकल्प थे ;होम्योपैथी या बैच फ़्लावर । लेकिन बैच फ़्लावर को अधिक सुगमता और सरलता की वजह से प्राथमिकता दी । पाइन की कुछ खुराखॊ मे वह पूर्णतया स्वस्थ हुये । दो दिन बाद वह जब मुझसे मिले तो प्रसन्नचित थे , नीद तो भरपूर आथी थी और साथ ही मन की उलझनें तो बिल्कुल नही दिखीं । मैने हँसते हुये उनसे पूछा कि ब्याज की रकम की समस्या का निपटारा कैसे करेगें जनाब , बिल्कुल हलके मन से वह बोले इसका भी उचित समाधान निकाल लूगाँ ।

बैच फ़्लावर औषधियों की यह  एक प्रमुख विशेषता है जो मुझे इस पद्दति में आकृष्ट करती है , रोगी के ऋण पक्ष (negative thoughts) को धन्न पक्ष ( positive thoughts ) में बदलना ।

पाइन स्वभाव वाले व्यक्तित्व के कुछ और ऋण पक्ष : 

• हीन भावना (guilty complex )
• स्वदोषी ( self reproach )
• अन्तर्मुखी ( introvert )
• बात-२ में क्षमा करने का उपयोग करना ।
• दूसरों के दोषों के लिये भी अपने को दोषी ठहराना ।
• संकोची व्यक्तित्व

KEYNOTES OF PINE :-

  Self-reproach, guilt feelings, despondency.
-Tired and worn out feeling.
-Never really satisfied with themselves.
-Blame themselves, asks more of himself than of others, and if the high standards applied to himself cannot be lived up to, he feels guilty and desperately blames himself in his heart.
-Will tend to be the scapegoat in the class and will uncomplainingly take the punishments for crimes they have not even committed.
-Always apologizing and using apologetic phrases in conversation.
-Feels guilty when need arises to speak firmly to others.
-Childish nervousness.
-Feels unworthy, inferior. Considers self a coward.
-Masochistic desire to sacrifice themselves and may punish themselves for life by choosing an inconsiderate partner.
-Religious beliefs strong, sees sexuality as sin.
-Negative narcissism.
-Personality shuts itself off from love, feels undeserving of love.
-Feeling he does not deserve anything.
-Introverted, little joy in life.

यूटा मॆटिल की पोस्ट , ’ To swallow or not to swallow…that is the question!’ कई अर्थों मे महत्वपूर्ण है । अधिकतर होम्योपैथ दवाओं को oral route यानि मुँह द्वारा ही लेने की सलाह देते हैं जैसा कि यूटा के एक सर्वे से स्पष्ट है । स्वंय हैनिमैन ने भी आर्गेनान सेक्शन २७२ में इस तथ्य को रखा है :

In Aphorism 272 he describes to the homeopath that a “granule placed dry on the tongue, is one of the smallest administrations for the less severe, only recently developed cases of disease” [10] (p.158). He goes on to point out that as such, only few nerves are touched by the medication. Further he describes that if the granule is dissolved in water and is prior to repeated ingestion succussed; a much stronger medication is created of which even the tiniest dose comes into instant contact with many nerves [10]. Yet, this also does not deliver indications for a definite necessity of transmucosal absorption.

लेकिन इसके बावजूद हैनिमैन ने चिकित्सकों को अन्य routes को भी अपनाने की सलाह भी दी  है जिनमें olfaction method प्रमुख है । पिछ्ले वर्ष से अब तक स्वंय मैने भी इस तथ्य को क्लीनकल प्रैक्टिस मे अनुभव किया कि कई होम्योपैथिक दवायें olfaction method से बेहतर कार्य करती हैं जैसे कि acute respiratory infections विशेषकर acute asthma ( दमा ) मे Ipecac 0/3 से 0/10 . arsenic 0/5, और sambucus 0/3 मुँह द्वारा प्रयोग करने की अपेक्षा nebulizer route से अधिक प्रभावी साबित होती है । इसका कारण क्या हो सकता है , इसके बारे मे तो अगर और अधिक रिसर्च हों तो शायद कहना मुमकिन हो ।

News from Sri Lanka–India to assist in setting up a Homeopathic University in Sri Lanka

Following discussions held by Minister Salinda Dissanayake with India’s Health and Family Welfare Minister Gulam Nabhi Azad, India has come forward to assist in improving the indigenous medical system. This meeting has taken place on the sidelines of the 66th World Homeopathy Conference held in India recently. An MOU is to be signed between the two countries shortly. As a preliminary step, a delegation led by the Secretary of India’s health and family welfare Ministry will arrive in Sri Lanka next Sunday. During this visit the Indian delegation will discuss about establishing an indigenous medicine university and a homeopathy university.

Earlier in August 2011 The Sri Lankan Cabinet has given approval for the new Homeopathy Act to replace the existing one to improve the Homeopathy medicine system. With the new Act a Homeopathy Medical College is expected to be established with the consent of the University Grants Commission. This new Act will stipulate the establishment of a Homeopathy Medical Council, regularization of the Registration of Homeopathy Centres and registration of Homeopathy pharmacists.  as Sri Lanka Daily Mirror reports :

Homeopathy doctors should posses qualifications obtained from a local university or any other recognized institute approved by the UGC or qualifications obtained from foreign institutions approved by the Medical Council of the relevant country, according to a new Homeopathy Act.

The monitoring and administering process of the Homeopathy profession will be assigned to the Homeopathy Medical Council to be established under the new Act. Studies, Research and Development activities of Homeopathy and the production, imports, sale and distribution of Homeopathy drugs and Monitoring and controlling of Homeopathy Medical Institutes will also come under the purview of the proposed Council.

Under the changes to be introduced the Ministry of Indigenous medicine expects to promote Homeopathy by providing qualified doctors, ensuring their services to the patients and providing of standard drugs.

The Homeopathy Medical Council will also arrange to streamline the registration of the Homeopathy Doctors and the pharmacists to avoid the engagement of unqualified doctors and pharmacists in Homeopathy treatments.

However in India . the Calcutta University annually provides 10 scholarships to Sri Lanka for homeopathy studies. Thirty-five Lankan students are studying in India.

• कम बिजी रहे लेकिन प्रभावी रुप से रहें ।
• कम ड्राइविंग करें लेकिन अधिक टहलें ।
• कम शोर लेकिन अधिक एकांत ढूँढें।
• भविष्य पर कम ध्यान दें लेकिन वर्तमान पर अधिक देखें ।
• कम काम करें और अधिक खेले ।
• कम चिंता करें और चेहरे पर  अधिक मुस्कान लायें ।
• सोशन नेट वर्किंग साइट का प्रयोग कम करें लेकिन वास्तविक जिदंगी में अधिक मित्र बनायें

दो होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सक पदम पुरस्कार से सम्मानित

छह महीने पहले ब्रिटिश मेडिकल असोसिएशन द्वारा होम्योपैथी के वैज्ञानिक आधार को लेकर लगाए गए सवालिया निशान का भारत के वैज्ञानिकों ने करारा जवाब दिया है। आईआईटी बॉम्बे के वैज्ञानिकों ने अपने एक शोध में साबित किया है कि होम्योपैथी की छोटी, उजली और मीठी गोलियां नैनोटैक्नॉलजी के सिद्धांत पर काम करती हैं।

आईआईटी बॉम्बे ने हाल ही में 'अलसेवियर' मैगजीन में ' होम्योपैथी ' पर एक रिसर्च प्रकाशित किया है। इसमें कहा गया है कि होम्योपैथी पिल्स में सोना, तांबा और लोहा जैसे नैचरल मेटल्स होते हैं। इनके घुलने की क्षमता मीटर के एक अरबवें हिस्से तक की होती है।

गौरतलब है कि आईआईटी बॉम्बे के केमिकल इंजिनियरिंग के वैज्ञानिकों ने होम्योपैथिक पिल्स के घुलने की क्षमता का अध्ययन किया। वैज्ञानिकों ने गोलियों के घुलने के बाद शक्तिशाली इलेक्ट्रॉन माइक्रोस्कोप से इस घोल का अध्ययन किया और उनमें मौजूद मेटल्स के नैनो पार्टिकल्स का पता लगाया।

वैज्ञानिकों की टीम में शामिल डॉक्टर जयेश बेल्लारी ने बताया, 'निश्चित रूप से अतिघुलनशील होने के बावजूद होम्योपैथी पिल्स में मापने योग्य मेटल्स मौजूद होते हैं।' सीधी भाषा में समझें तो 4 लाख कणों में से एक कण के कंसन्ट्रेशन के बावजूद यह गोलियां असरकारक होती हैं।

डॉक्टर जयेश ने बताया कि उनके छात्र प्रशांत चिक्रमाने ने ' एक्सट्रीम होम्योपैथिक डायल्यूशन्स रिटेन स्टार्टिंग मटीरियल्स : अ नैनोपार्टिकुलेट पर्सपेक्टिव ' पर थीसिस लिखा है। होम्योपैथी मॉर्डन मेडिसिन के लिए पहेली बना हुआ है। इसके डॉक्टरों ने इसकी घुलनशीलता और मेटल्स की मौजूदगी पर काफी अध्ययन किया है। इसे हर तरह से जांचा परखा है, लेकिन इसके मैकेनिज्म पर अब भी काफी काम किया जाना बाकी है।

Scientists from the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT-B) have established that the sweet white pills work on the principle of nanotechnology.
    Homeopathic pills—made of naturally occurring metals such as gold and copper-—retain their potency even when diluted to a nanometre or one-billionth of a metre, states the IIT-B research published in the latest issue of Homoeopathy, a peer-reviewed journal published by the reputed Elsevier. IIT-B’s chemical engineering department bought commonly available homoeopathic pills from neigbourhood shops, prepared highly diluted solutions and checked under powerful electron microscopes to find nanoparticles of the original metal.
    “Our paper showed that certain highly diluted homoeopathic remedies made from metals still contain measurable amounts of the starting material, even at extreme dilutions of 1 part in 10 raised to 400 (200C),’’ said Dr Jayesh Bellare. His student, Prashant Chikramane, presented the paper ‘Extreme homoeopathic dilutions retain starting materials: A nanoparticulate perspective’, as part of his doctoral thesis. IIT theory proves what some homoeopaths have always known
    Homoeopathy was established in the late 18th century by German physician Samuel Hahnemann. While it is widely popular in certain countries, especially India, the British Medical Association and the British parliament have in recent times questioned homoeopathy’s potency. Around four years ago, British research papers rubbished homoeopathy as a mere “placebo’’.
    “Homoeopathy has been a conundrum for modern medicine. Its practitioners maintained that homeopathic pills got more potent on dilution, but they could never explain the mechanism scientifically enough for the modern scientists,’’ said Bellare. For instance, if an ink-filler loaded with red ink is introduced into the Powai lake, Bellare said, there would be no chance of ever tracing it. “But the fact is that homoeopathic pills have worked in extreme dilutions and its practitioners have been able to cure tough medical conditions,” he added.
    “We had analyzed ayurvedic bhasmas a few years ago and found nanoparticles to be the powering agent ,” the team members said. For the first time, scientists used equipment like transmission electron microscope, electron diffraction and emission spectroscopy to map physical entities in extremely dilution.
